Je desire connaitre la masse d'un objet. J'ai essayé un max de reglage mais rien du tout. Si une personne connait le systeme pour utiliser et regler cette fonction ? Pour le moment j'utilise Alibre Design pour connaitre la masse de mes objet ....

Is there anybody who has a good working lisp code to load a model from windchill 10.2? I can't find anything in the integration kit and sd-db-element-load only works with model manager.

I have just installed Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express 6.0 and have gone through the tutorials to understand how to model in this environment.
The difficulty I am having is, I would like to assemble two parts, having the constraint remain constant, e.g. a pinned hinge that can rotate about the pins axis.
Watching the movement of the lid on the printer in the QuickStart tutorial called 'Repurpose a model to create a new product', it seems this is possible. However, I've been looking and can't locate proper contraints in the program. Additionally, when I watch the lid motion from the side, it appears the motion is not pure rotation, but an interpolated combination of translation and rotation from one position to another. It is basically faking a constraint using the configuration animation capabilities.
So, the question is, are there proper constraints somewhere in this free 'Express; version? If not, are they available in the paid version? Also, if not, shouldn't there be a clear mention of this in the documentation, help, etc?

I am trying to move a part. The 3D copilot appears (I think that is what it is called, the 3d thing with the arrows and rings that you pull to move an object) but it wants to move the part in directions that are set at 45 degrees offset from the directions I need to move the part. I tried to see if there was a way for me to reorient the global coordinate system but could not find a way to do that. I created a new coordinate system successfully - but it has no effect on anything! What good is a new coordinate system if you can't move parts or measure relative to it????? I see no way to make it the active coordinate system. I looked through the help file and so far have not found a way to make a new coordinate system the active one.
I also tried creating a new workplane and then orienting it in the appropriate direction and then pressing F8 to show the coordinate system of that plane (which is oriented as I need it to be) but then when I go to move the part the 3d copilot is oriented according to the global coordinate system and not the one associated with the workplane. So that method doesn't work.
What am I missing here?

I am using Creo Elements / Direct Modeling Express. I like it a lot in some ways. But I find that I am spending quite a bit of time repeatedly fixing things that seem out of place or not quite in the right position. Parts that I thought I had snapped properly into place when I later look closely are not really in the right place. Parts that I thought had been put in place with faces at right angles to other parts, turn out later, when I look closely, to not really be at right angles. I will sometimes use the "mate" and/or "align" functions to make the corrections. That works but I am spending much time correcting these types of things. I used to use AutoCAD and I don't remember this problem with that program (or at least it was less common, to the best of my recollection). Do other users see this problem with Creo Elements / Direct Modeling Express? Is there anything that can be done about this?

Does somebody know how to connect visual studio 2013/2015 with Creo elements direct modeling 18.1? DDE doesn't exist anymore in visual studio. Somebody has an idea and/or example to do this?

ich versuche gerade mich in Creo Elements Express einzuarbeiten. Ich möchte gern eine hohle Halbkugel modellieren, leider krieg ichs nicht hin.
Leider habe ich auch im Internet keine Information dazu gefunden.
Vielleicht hat jemand ein paar Stichworte für mich wie ich vorgehen soll.

weiß jemand, ob die PE 3.0 höhere Anforderungen an die Grafikkarte stellt als das bei der PE 2.0 der Fall war? Ich habe zu Hause nur eine "On Board"-Karte. Damit gab es schon bei der PE 2.0 Probleme, aber es ging dann. Sind neue Probleme bei der 3.0 zu erwarten?

Ie, the model been saved 5 times, but reached a dead end. Wish to return to the third saved model. Still possible?

Can we get an expanded threading feature for tapered threads? A lot of our pipe threadings are tapered and not straight, and we have no means to create this.
On a side note, a complete list of Thread types (:unc,:unf,,etc) would be nice as well so we don't have to fudge the thread data.
Is it possible to when positioning a newly opend part from Model Manager (With option position at load marked) to get the part in a new smaller window and current assy in a big window? Instead of having to zoom out to see the newly opend part zoom in to it select an edge then zoom out and again in to current assy and select an edge.

ich versuche vergebens eine Stückliste mit Positionszeiger in meiner
Zeichnung einzubauen.
Da ich die Express-Version benutze habe ich den Verdacht, dass dies
hier nicht vorgesehen ist.
Wenn doch, dann habe ich die Vorgehensweise absolut nicht verstanden.
Kann mir irgendwer eine kurze Rückmeldung geben?

ich habe die Studenten Version von Creo 2.0, das sollte aber kein Problem sein:
Und zwar kann ich mein Bauteil nicht drehen oder sonstig bewegen. Die Zoom-Funktioniert funktioniert, ich kann allerdings nicht mit der Strg.-Taste arbeiten.
Wo kann ich die Tastenbelegung überprüfen/ändern ändern? Ich nutze Windows 8.

Travaillant sur mon projet de 2e année de Génie Mécanique, je dois modéliser plusieurs pièce contenant des taraudages. Je commence mon travail sur les PC de l'école, tout va bien... Je rentre chez moi et je continue mon travail sur mon PC (équipé de Créo 2 paramétric, la même version étudiant qu'à l'école).
Je vais pour faire un taraudage, je clique sur la fonction "Trou" puis je sélectionne "Créer un trou standard", normes ISO, M10x.75.
Mon taraudage ne s'affiche pas, je le place en espérant qu'il va s'afficher... Jusqu'à ce que je me rende compte qu'il a un diamètre de 0.3642 mm, complètement inchangeable (dans l'onglet "Forme", le diamètre est grisé, ainsi que "Filetage débouchant"), et sa profondeur est de 0.87 mm. Si je veux changer cette profondeur, il me dit qu'elle doit être comprise entre 0.0208 et 0.9806 mm... Enfin quand je clique sur le bouton vert pour confirmer le taraudage, un message d'erreur apparaît qui dit "La régénération du modèle a échoué. Cliquez sur OK pour créer un fonction échouée ou sur Annuler poour revenir à l'outil".
Voilà, je n'y comprend rien, j'ai fait exactement les mêmes manips qu'à l'école, et j'ai commencé ma pièce sur mon PC. Une aide serait la bienvenue!
